CSI Scholarships
I. 2012 AAD Annual Meeting Poster Exhibit Scholarship
Applications are being solicited for attendance scholarships for the 70th Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology to be held the 16-20 of March, 2012 in San Diego, California.
Awardees will receive a complimentary registration for the meeting and one course and a stipend to be presented at the Annual Meeting.

II. ILDS Scholarship Program (WCD 2011)
Qualified applicants include dermatologists from developing countries (Program 1), residents and fellows (Program 2).
Requirement for Scholarship Applicants
Age Limit: 40 years of age at the time of the WCD 2011 (May 24, 2011) 
Applicants: Certified dermatologist (Program 1) or dermatologist in training: residents and fellows (Program 2)
Applicant should be a life member of CSI
English language comprehension is mandatory
Participation in at least one congress scientific activity such as a poster presentation and/or oral communication. Abstracts for oral/ poster presentations must be submitted to the CSI by October 15, 2010. 
All applicants must submit appropriate verification of their educational status.
 

Scholarships will cover registration fees, accommodation and travel expenses. Final scholarship amounts will be based on region and the number of members who are registered with the ILDS. The numbers for each country have been announced to each national society. Participants in the scholarship program will be chosen based on recommendations from local ILDS member societies (such as CSI ). The application deadline is August 25, 2010.

III. International Society Of Dermatology
Travel Grants available to attend 22nd World Congress of Dermatology in Seoul

ISD is pleased to offer a limited number of scholarships to ISD member residents, fellows or young dermatologists who are 35 years of age or under to attend the 22nd World Congress of Dermatology in Seoul, Korea, May 24-29, 2011.


The World Congress of Dermatology is held every 4 years under the auspices of the International League of Dermatological Societies (ILDS). ISD is an international member of the ILDS.


This travel grant program is to help defray costs of travel and registration to the meeting. Awards will be given in the amount of $1,500. The travel grant will be given to successful applicants upon their arrival at the meeting during the ISD Sister Society Meeting.


Scholarship recipients are responsible for making their own registration for the meeting and travel and hotel arrangements.
Criteria : 
Applicants must be enrolled in a residency program at the time of the meeting or young dermatologists under the age of 35 (must be 35 or under at the time of the WCD in May 2011)
The applicant must be a member of CSI
Applicants must submit the following:

1) An abstract summarizing the content of a proposed poster exhibit presentation

2) An abbreviated curriculum vitae (one-two pages)

3) A personal statement indicating why the applicant should be selected

4) A letter of recommendation, preferably from the applicant’s present or former training director, by the application deadline

5) A copy of the applicant's passport photo

IV. CSI Hindustan Unilever Sponsorship for Dr Leslie Baumann in Cosmetic Dermatology
Criteria : 
The candidate should have completed his /her M.D or D.N.B or D.V.D or  D.D.V or  D.D.V.L   in Dermatology & Venereology.
The candidate should be a CSI member.
The candidate should be 35 or less than 35 years of age.
The candidate should be in practice for not less than 3 years.
Only deserving candidate with limited financial support would be selected.
The candidate will have to present 3 case reports along with literature survey related to Cosmetic Dermatology.
The selected candidate should be willing to assist CSI in all future workshops / CME 's , conferences / website / journal for a minimum of 2 years.
No special preference would be given to relatives of  HUL employees or relatives of  members  of CSI core committee.

V. CSI  PJ Sakhia Foundation Scholarship

Scholarships available for  active participations (paper, poster presentations) in various reputed conferences as well as different ‘Fellowship programs in Cosmetic Dermatology’
Eligibility Criteria : 
 Qualified Dermatologists / Dermatology post-graduate students
 Age: Below 35 years
