In addition to being one of India’s leading dermatologists, she is a respected and renowned authority on Cosmetic Dermatology. Her vast expertise in the subject has also been recognized by her peer groups. This has taken her across the country, educating various groups of dermatologists in Maharashtra, Kerala, Gujarat, Indore, Ludhiana, Rohtak, Bilaspur, Calicut and Khatmandu.

Dr. Sheth is the founder and present President of the Cosmetic Dermatology Society (India). For the first time in India she has, through this, brought dermatologists, beauticians and plastic surgeons under a common forum to improve techniques and spread knowledge on beauty and cosmetic care. Over the last three years, through the CSI, she has organized over 20 immensely successful teaching seminars both for beauticians and dermatologists. So successful was the response to these seminars that recently Mumbai University has joined hands with the CSI to conduct certified courses for beauty care professionals.

Industrial giants like Hindustan Lever Limited and Givaudan Roure, Switzerland have often invited her to conduct various cosmetologic research projects for them, which she has successfully carried out under international guidelines, including the WHO’s instructions for Good Clinical Practice (GCP). This has given her the distinction of being the only dermatologist in the country to have maximum cosmetic clinical studies under her belt.

She added a new dimension to the field in India, by founding her own Cosmetic Dermatology clinic, Iz. At Iz, every aspect of skin and hair care including beauty services is scientifically and hygienically executed under one roof.

The media has appreciated her through regular columns in leading newspapers like Bombay Times and Mid-Day and premiere magazines like Cosmopolitan, Elan, and New Woman. In addition, she has been featured regularly in  a number of other top newspapers and magazines, television shows and websites.  

She has written a book “The Beauty Book” which is a complete manual on skin and hair care published by Penguin. This is the first time that such a book has been written in our country by an authority.

Dr Jaishree Sharad is a Cosmetic Dermatologist and the Medical Director of  Skinfiniti Skin & Cosmetology Clinic, Mumbai. She is the present Vice President of the prestigious Cosmetic Dermatology Society of India (CSI). She has been secretary of CSI in 2007 & 2008

She has been trained in botox, fillers & mesotherapy from Melbourne, Paris and Hongkong.

She has been an eloquent orator at various international and national conferences and has conducted many workshops in cosmetic dermatology for dermatologists & post graduate dermatology students. She is a pioneer in radiofrequency skin tightening in India. She has won many awards and presented papers at national and international conferences. She has written articles & been quoted in press & media. Dr. Shyam Verma is a Member of the Board of Directors  of  The International Society of Dermatology.

Dr. Verma has a keen interest in dermatophotography and three of his clinical photographs have been acknowledged and printed in the current editions of Rook's textbook and Andrew's textbook of dermatology.

Dr. Shyam Verma has been appointed as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Dermatology in University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia in June 2009. Dr. Verma already serves as Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology at University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia and State University of New York, USA which gives him the distinction of being the only dermatologist in India to hold three academic positions in some of the most prestigious American departments of Dermatology. Dr. Verma has over 80 international Guest Lectures to his credit all over the world and has been invited speaker at various international congresses. He has organised and chaired the first ever session on 'Dermatology in India' at the EADV congress in Vienna in 2007, he organised and chaired the sister society meeting of the International society of Dermatology in EADV, Paris in 2008 and is organising and chairing a session on 'Dermatology in India' in EADV, Berlin. He is appointed on the International Advisory Boards of the International Hair Congress to be held in Australia in 2010 and in the ESCAD congress to be held in 2010 in Dresden, Germany.

Dr. Verma serves on the Editorial Boards of the International Journal of Dermatology, Brazilian Annals of Dermatology, Electronic Textbook of Dermatology and the Advisory Board of 'Cosmetic Dermatology' journal of ESCAD. He is also the only Asian board  member of the European Society of Cosmetic and Aesthetic Dermatology. He is appointed  a section Editor of the recently launched International Journal of Trichology. He has served on the Editorial Board of the IJDVL and is currently serving on the editorial board of the Journal of Cutaneous Surgeons of India.
